  • Vince has been teaching my son since 2010 and has helped him develop into a serious guitarist. He is always looking for new ways to inspire along with securing great locations for concerts (House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, Del Mar Fair). My son is a different person today because of Vince, he seriously has impacted his life leaving a skill he will always retain. Five Stars !!!

  • This place rocks! Vince & David are amazing instructors who take the time to teach music correctly. Then they organize concerts to give their students stage time. Finally a place that gets it! We are blessed to have found Vince! Thanks for turning our daughter into an amazing guitarist!

  • This is the absolutely best music program.. from Vince the owner who truly cares and our piano and guitar teacher David who we can't thank enough! My kids look forward to their weekly lessons and practice right after he leaves and all week. He keeps them motivated and progressing and they love and enjoy learning to play, we feel truly blessed to be part of US Music Lessons in San Diego. Highly recommend!

  • Our, now, 10 year old has taken three instrument lessons at US Music --piano, drums, and guitar. He's learned a lot and has received excellent instruction in all three.
    ------------------------------------
Our 8 year old has been taking piano lessons for about 6 months and loves it. I've been pleased to the point where we're going to try and add a second day of instruction to the current 1 day/week that he's doing now. The instructor is great and a couple of the substitute instructors that he's had he's liked as well. What I liked about US Music Lessons was the selection of instruments they teach. I've asked if they would be fine with adding a second instrument over the summer just for a month of instruction to get a taste of something different and they're fine with that idea. For example, I want our boy to get a taste of drums and guitar at some point in time.

They're adding a program in their repertoire that I would have loved for our boy when he was younger which is a 18mo-7 year old musical survey, of sorts, class where they learn to read music and explore several different instruments in a group setting. I feel a program like that would have given me a great idea of what instrument to start individual lessons with.

  • Sean's been coaching me in Guitar up in Orange County and I've been absolutely loving it! Sean has such a contagious enthusiasm for the guitar, and he is very knowledgeable and helpful in so many ways. I also appreciated how on our first lesson he asked me about my goals and he's been customizing our lessons help with my specific vision. Of course I'm just a curious person, so Sean has patiently answered all my questions about everything (with a smile). I've been working with him for a month now and I'm playing about 6 chords comfortably (which was a priority for me), but I'm also learning to play and read individual notes as well. I've learned how to tune my guitar, how to use a capo, and even how to change my strings. It has also been very inspirational to learn from someone who has a greater vision for my musical ability than I ever had for myself. He really goes above and beyond because he genuinely wants you to have everything you need and to be the best you can be. He also holds himself to a very high standard. Rather than just going through the motions for 30 minutes each lesson, he really works hard to make sure that you are comfortable with what you have learned and will take the extra few minutes to make sure you're ready to go until next week. I went in to guitar thinking it would be a 'fun hobby' or just a nice thing to learn, but Sean has really shown me how to love the guitar and I'm very excited to keep on learning!

  • To us, these are more than just music lessons...

My son struggles with controlling his emotions. If he doesn't do something perfectly, he gets down on himself to the point where it's hard for him to function. You can imagine when he started drum lessons, it was very hard for him to get going. Every missed beat, he would get down on himself. Listening in on his first couple lessons, I almost became emotional when I overheard how encouraging and supportive his drum instructor was. He was teaching my son life lessons, of how mistakes were part of life, through music. My son began to gain confidence, losing the fear of trying new things and making mistakes. His apprehension for going to drum lessons soon transformed into an eagerness to learn more. I'll forever be grateful to US Music Lessons for what they did for my son.

  • My 13 year old has been taking voice lessons with this organization for almost a year now. She absolutely loves her coach and has improved tremendously. I would recommend US Music Lessons to anyone who is looking for good quality lessons for an affordable price. Vince and his staff are friendly and easy to work with as well. We are very happy!
